We liked it so much – we came back!

Border Collie - Four Paws Adventure Academy Katrina Wilson Dog Photography-10For those of you who read last month’s blog about our visit to Four Paws Adventure Academy in Bedfordshire – we thought we would give you a little update on whats been happening at the playground and some of the brand new features installed during lockdown.

Today was a beautifully sunny September morning – perfect for a trip to our new favourite place to play!Border Collie - Four Paws Adventure Academy Katrina Wilson Dog Photography-2The first thing that grabbed Bobby’s attention – was the Boomer Ball…he LOVES Boomer balls!

If you’ve never seen one of these before, check them out on Amazon.  They are hard balls that cannot be picked up by your dog.

They are virtually indestructible, but great for stimulation, as they roll about freely and the dogs usually move them about with their paws or nose.

Bobby gets VERY excited AND noisy when he plays with his at home…so he’s only allowed limited time to play with it!Border Collie - Four Paws Adventure Academy Katrina Wilson Dog Photography-1Even Bobby’s big mouth can’t pick up these balls!

The next stop was in the brand new sandpit…a lovely sturdy, wooden pit which had plenty of room for both dogs.

Bobby enjoyed some time here chilling out, after all the excitement of the Boomer ball!Border Collie - Four Paws Adventure Academy Katrina Wilson Dog Photography-3From here, we moved to the amazing sensory garden…another great new feature.  The dogs really enjoyed exploring the herbs…here’s Sammy checking out the Rosemary..Border Collie - Four Paws Adventure Academy Katrina Wilson Dog Photography-5They both loved checking out the various plants…
